Founder eligibility.

Student or early-stage founder

Indian citizens who were full-time UG/PG students or founders/co-founders of DPIIT-registered startups not older than two years.

Tier-II / Tier-III focus

Applicants needed to be from, or building solutions for, Tier-II or Tier-III locations.

Physical incubation

Participants needed to be available for full-time physical incubation at CUJ SITEC, Central University of Jammu.

Pilot Funding

Up to ₹40 lakh per eligible startup.

The Pilot Component was designed to support eligible startups in executing pilot projects in collaboration with corporates, PSUs or large enterprises.

  • DPIIT-registered startup.
  • Working in ICT-related technology domains.
  • MVP or working prototype.
  • Viable business plan.
  • Full-time founder or co-founder.

Matching Fund

1:1 matching support up to ₹50 lakh.

The Matching Fund Component supported startups with validated solutions and proof of concept by enabling market access, investor linkages and scale-up opportunities.

Key eligibility

  • Registered Indian Private Limited Company.
  • At least 51% Indian ownership.
  • Registered in a Tier-II or Tier-III city.
  • Valid DPIIT certificate.

  • No unresolved legal disputes.
  • External funds raised were matched on a 1:1 basis subject to programme conditions.
